ITINERARY


Day 1
Malinalco
Departure to the Magic Village of Malinalco, to visit the important Archaeological Zone of Cuauhtinchán, where the valiant eagles and jaguar warriors used to train. Later we will visit the University Museum and the Convent of the Transfiguración (Transfiguration) and the parish of the Divino Salvador (Divine Savior). Dinner at LOS PLACERES. Accommodation.


Day 2
Malinalco - Grutas de la Estrella (Star Caves) - Ixtapan de la Sal

We will go to the Star Caves. Continue to Tonatico, where we will cross to the central garden and The Parish of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción (Our Lady of the Assumption). Later we will move to Ixtapan de la Sal, with its famous hot springs. Accommodation.


Day 3
Ixtapan de la Sal - Teotenango - Metepec

Departure to the town of Tenango del Valle. Famous for its gastronomy, of which stands out its barbecue and a drink known as "piña" (pineapple). Visit to the Archaeological Zone of Teotenango, continue to Metepec, the magic town of the State of Mexico. Accommodation.


Day 4
Metepec - Toluca - Valle de Bravo

We go to the city of Toluca, visiting the main points of interest of the city, Botanical Garden "Cosmovitral"; The Cathedral of San José; los portales (the portals). We continue to one of the most iconic towns of the State of Mexico, Valle de Bravo where we will tour its streets and the market of handicrafts with products of mazahua and otomí origin, embroidered textiles, wood, ceramics glazed clay and even elaborate jewelry. Dinner at the SOLEADO. Accommodation.


Day 5
Valle de Bravo - El Oro - Aculco

Departure to El Oro. This town owes its importance to the mining boom. We will visit Tiro Norte, its French-style municipal palace and the beautiful Juárez Theater. We continue towards Aculco.

Day 6
Aculco - Tepotzotlán - Teotihuacán

Our first stop is the National Museum of the Virreinato, the Temple of San Francisco Javier, a true architectural jewel. We continue to Teotihuacán, the most visited archaeological zone in the world. Here we will see the Calzada de los Muertos (Roadway of the Dead), the Temple of Quetzalcoatl, the Pyramid of the Sun and the Moon. Towards the afternoon, food in LA GRUTA, elegant Mexican cuisine cooked underground. Accommodation.


Day 7
Teotihuacán - Mexico City
